Cura | Healing

It all started two years ago, in the middle of the pandemic, with a kind "no" coming from one of the most valuable souls in my life.

While hurting, I chose to dive deeply into my subconscious and heal traumas that have always haunted me. Then, life introduced me to people and practices that helped me to recast my Karma into my Dharma. I've tried many avenues, from hypnosis to Ayahuasca, through tarot reading, meditation and breathwork ... all combined with countless hours of conversations with friends struggling with different sides of the same matter.

Cura which means Healing in Portuguese is the documentation of my healing journey... I now incorporate these tools into my creative process. Every element represents an experience, a person, a memory or even a feeling.

The show happened from the 23rd of February until the 5th of March 2023 at the Darlinghurst Road Gallery in Sydney.
